Installing add-ons (1,2)

The two add-on's I'll be focusing on are AdvProxy (Advanced Proxy) URLFilter. For filtering purposes, you only really need URLFilter, but AdvProxy has some nice options so it's worth the 5 minutes it takes to install. Start by downloading the add-ons by clicking on the links above (you'll find the download page on the left menu of both sites).

Once you've downloaded the two files, you'll need to get them over to the IPCop machine. That's where FileZilla comes in. If you haven't installed it yet, do that now and take all the defaults.

Open up FileZilla and hit CTRL-S to bring up the Site Manager. Click on New Site and enter 192.168.1.1 for the hostname (again provided that's what you used for your GREEN interface). Enter 222 for the port and change the servertype to "SFTP using SSH2". Next change the logontype to Normal and enter "root" for the username and enter the password you gave during the install of IPCop. It should look like this:

FileZilla Site Manager

Next click on the Connect button, and click Yes to storing the key in cache. It will automatically put you in the /root folder on the IPCop machine. Simply drag the two files over to the remote site section to transfer them over:
